DIY play kitchen
Luka loves to pretend to cook. He carefully carries wooden blocks around on a spatula, asking “anyone care for eat?” Ivan had this great idea that I should turn Luka’s messy bookcase into a play kitchen. It all started with the bookcase - we used an old wooden piece I painted years ago which has seen many lives, as everything from bedroom furniture to basement tool shed. ...

good idea [interior design]
saw this in some fashion office in betaworks’ building. 4 or 5 mismatched doormats all in a row. different sizes and textures. different patterns. I think in this case they were all of similar color, but not sure that’s necessary.

Amazing set of books which take you through England just after the turn of the century up until the 60’s in striking detail. Very interesting technique - 1st person character is completely flat and all action is through this person’s retelling of other people’s lives.
